How to make Nutter Butter Acorns

These Nutter Butter Acorns are a quick and adorable no-bake treat made with just a few simple ingredients. Nutter Butter cookies are dipped in melted chocolate, coated with chocolate sprinkles, and finished with a tiny pretzel stem to create the cutest little acorns.

They're perfect for fall parties, Thanksgiving, or for making with little ones. We love them for an enchanted woodland themed birthday party - they also make adorable party snacks for a fall birthday party or storybook themed birthday or baby shower.

Nutter Butter Acorns serves: 12 cookies

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 0 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

You will need

• Nutter Butter cookies

• Chocolate chips

• Chocolate sprinkles

• Pretzel sticks

1. Cut each Nutter Butter cookie in half.

2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted and smooth.

3. Dip the cut end of each cookie into the melted chocolate, going about one-quarter of the way down the cookie.

4. Dip the chocolate-coated end into the chocolate sprinkles until the chocolate is covered.

5. Break a small piece from the end of a pretzel stick and place it on top of each cookie to create the acorn stem.

Repeat with each one, working quickly before the chocolate sets. Once they are made, allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Tips and tricks!

• Melt the chocolate in short intervals and stir between each one to prevent it from overheating.

• Substitutions: Use milk, dark, or white chocolate instead of chocolate chips, although chocolate-colored sprinkles will give the most traditional acorn look.

• Variations: Try different sprinkles for a colorful seasonal version, or use mini chocolate chips instead of sprinkles for a different texture.

• Let the chocolate set completely before storing or serving. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
