All the colourful sprinkles ever with our ultimate carnival or fairground party bars! These rainbow confetti carnival bars are so easy to make, using fruity pebbles cereal and mini marshmallows. Enjoy all the fun of the fair with these colourful party treats or snacks.

With only three ingredients needed, these would be perfect to make for a carnival or circus themed birthday party - and even double as cute party decor - they are the ultimate party bars!

Servings: 12 to 16 bars Prep Time: 40 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins

You will need

• 4 tablespoons salted butter (or unsalted + ½ teaspoon salt)
• 1 ½ (10 oz) bags mini marshmallows
• 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

To begin, line a 9x13” baking dish with aluminum foil and lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.

Once the butter is melted, add one full bag of mini marshmallows. Stir frequently until completely melted. If using unsalted butter, stir in ½ teaspoon of salt at this point.

Remove the pot from heat. Quickly stir in the Fruity Pebbles until fully coated.

Add the remaining half bag of mini marshmallows and gently fold them in.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Press it down into an even layer (spraying your hands or a spatula with cooking spray can help prevent sticking). Let sit at room temperature for about 30–45 minutes or until set.

Once firm, lift out of the pan, transfer to a clean surface, and slice into bars.

Serve and enjoy!

To make them, just pop a good amount of candyfloss in your glasses or flutes, then a sprinkle of edible shimmer in each one - then pour the liquid on top of the candyfloss to make it dissolve, so beautiful to watch and so much fun for your younger guests - and your older guests! You could even add some edible flowers to drinks to make them extra pretty!

6. Cherry pie bites

These Air Fryer Cherry Pie Bites are a quick and delicious way to enjoy the classic flavors of cherry pie in a bite-sized treat. Made with flaky biscuits and sweet cherry filling, they cook up golden and crispy in minutes.

You will need only a handful of ingredients - Grands Biscuit dough or similar (to us in UK these are like flaky scones - we may need to make the dough from scratch first) cherry pie filling, powdered sugar and milk. Our recipe serves 16, takes around 15 mins to make and about 10 minutes to bake.

You will need
• 8 Grands biscuits flaky layers, separated in half
• 1 - 1 1/2 cups cherry pie filling
• ¼ cup powdered sugar
• 1-2 tsp milk
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Small bowl and spoon
• Air fryer

Start by separating the biscuits in half, then roll each half out to make it flat.

Add a small spoonful of filling (about 3 cherries with a little of the glaze) into the center of each.

Then pull the edges up and pinch together to somewhat form a ball shape.

Grease the air fryer basket and place the cherry pie bites spaced apart in the basket, seam side up. I was able to make 8 at a time.

Air fry at 350 for 5 minutes, then flip the cherry pie bites over and air fry for another 5 minutes. Then remove the cherry pie bites from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly.

Mix the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.

It's ready when it has a smooth consistency.

Then use a spoon to drizzle over the cherry pie bites.

You could alternatively use some pink cherry glace icing to top or cover them, like mini cream puffs or profiteroles. These make perfect afternoon tea party bites!

7. An ice cream or pretzel tasting party activity

You could give each guest a scorecard and ask them to rate different ice cream/pretzel flavours and combinations. This is so much fun for guests of all ages and an elegant activity for your special occasion!

11. Set up a chalkboard style party message wall for guests

So all guests can write, draw and scribble their own messages on it! You could even set up a giant chalkboard canvas that guests can decorate, with photos, drawings and messages! This would make an amazing photo backdrop for the party, for guests to take photos in front of. To create the canvas backdrop for guests to decorate, grab some black paper or cardstock and staple it to a base, such as a wall, fence or giant board made from cardboard. Provide guests with some chalks and liquid chalk markers and let them decorate to their hearts content.

12. Set up a birthday baking contest

The most fun ever, why not throw an amazing birthday bakeoff to create some hilarious memories! You could split in to two teams to see who can bake or decorate the best birthday cake - where the recipient can decide who wins!

13. Some fun personalised drinks toppers

These are totally edible and also work so well to decorate party treats and tailor them perfectly to the occasion, plus you can personalise them with a photo design and script of your choice to impress guests no end!

14. Play a game of 'pin the ice cream on the cone'

Just like the traditional party game of 'pin the tail on the donkey' but an even cuter version with an ice cream themed twist! You could even try 'pin the cherry on top' and craft it from thick paper or cardstock.

15. A party game of stack the beanbag 'ice cream scoops'

For this activity, create a flat bottom ice cream cone prop, using a small bin or similar and some coloured paper or cardstock to turn it in a cone! Make two of these. Then guests can divide in to two teams to see who can build the highest ice cream with pastel coloured beanbags - or you could use colourful socks filled with tissue paper! - without the 'scoop' collapsing!

16. These mini Strawberry Pie cookies πŸ‘ˆπŸ»

These look complex but are so quick and easy to make - plus look stunning on the party table! They are perfect for a picnic spread or strawberry themed birthday party or baby shower and take only 4 ingredients. They are great to make at home with your little helpers and they are so cute! You could even swap the filling out for cherry, blueberry... there are so many options! Strawberry pie is one of the best desserts, but making it into a mini version is even better!
