How to make Easy Oreo Bat Treats

These Oreo Bats are a fun and spooky no-bake Halloween treat that's as easy to make as it is adorable! Creamy Oreo cheesecake balls are rolled in cookie crumbs, decorated with Oreo wings and candy eyeballs, and chilled until ready to serve. They're the perfect spooky-sweet bite for Halloween parties, trick-or-treat trays, or a festive fall dessert spread.

Oreo Bats serves: 12

Prep time: 20 minutes

Chill time: 1 hour

Total time: 1 hour 20 minutes

You will need

• 4 oz cream cheese, softened

• 24 Oreo cookies, crushed in a food processor

• 1/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies for rolling (about 6 cookies)

• 6 Oreo cookies, halved and broken in half

• 24 candy eyeballs

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Break apart the 6 Oreo cookies and remove the cream filling.

Break each cookie in half to create the bat wings and set them aside. Any cookies that break can be used to roll the bat bodies in later.

2. Add 24 Oreo cookies to a food processor and crush them into fine crumbs. Measure out 1/4 cup of the crumbs and set aside for rolling.

3. Add the remaining Oreo crumbs to a medium bowl with the softened cream cheese.

Beat together until well combined.

4. Wearing plastic gloves, roll the mixture into 12 evenly sized balls.

Roll each ball in the reserved Oreo crumbs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Gently press one Oreo wing into each side of every ball.

Add two candy eyeballs to the front of each bat. Chill for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.

Tips and tricks!

• Soften the cream cheese before mixing so the Oreo mixture combines smoothly.

• Wearing gloves makes rolling the bat bodies much easier and less messy.

Substitutions: Use your favorite chocolate sandwich cookies instead of Oreo cookies if desired.

Variations: Try different sizes or colors of candy eyeballs to create different spooky bat designs.

Storage: Store the Oreo Bats covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
