You will need
• 36 vanilla oreo cookies
• ½ cup of the cereal part of lucky charms
• ½ cup of the marshmallows from the cereal
• 6 tablespoons butter, melted
• 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 (8 ounce) tubs whipped topping
• 2 boxes (3.4 ounce each) vanilla instant pudding mix
• 2 ½ cups cold milk
• Green food coloring
• ⅓ teaspoon lime essence (optional)
• More cereal for garnish
• Whipped cream and sour ropes for garnish
1. To begin, an optional first step is to line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper - this makes slicing easier but it is not necessary.
2. In your food processor crush all the cookies and the ½ cup of cereal into crumbs.
3. Place the cookie mix into a large bowl and add the melted butter. Stir until well blended.
4. Press the cookie crumbs into the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish.
5. In large bowl using an electric mixer combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the lime essence and beat briefly (10–15 seconds) to fully distribute the flavor. Fold in 1 container of whipped topping.
6. Stir in green food coloring just until you get your desired shade.
7. Gently spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie mixture.
8. In medium bowl, whisk together the dry pudding mixes and milk until combined.
Add in the ½ cup of cereal marshmallows.
9. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
10. Top with the remaining container of whipped topping.
Sprinkle candy or remaining cereal pieces over the top to decorate.
11. Refrigerate for 4 hours or freeze.
Slice up ready to serve.
Just before serving you can garnish with some whipped cream clouds and a rainbow sour rope for decoration!
Tips and Tricks! Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-5 days.
